05/24/2010 - 10:00
05/24/2010 - 12:00

Monday May 24, 10am to 12pm

Come and explore the different ecosystems at the Morgan Arboretum this Spring.  Children will experience wetland, forest and open field ecosystems while learning the basic concepts of nature appreciation, biodiversity, population dynamics, dichotomous keys, and more.  Material is presented using hands-on, age appropriate activities.

We can have lunch together afterwards.  Bring all your food & drink - there is nothing to buy there.

Please bring or wear: waterproof boots or good walking shoes, sun hat, insect repellent, and water.  Note:  The Morgan Arboretum is a nature conservation centre, therefore, no collecting is permitted (leaves, fruits of trees, mushrooms, insects, rocks, etc.).

The cost is $4 per person (children & adults).  Babies and tots 3 years and under are free.

This activity is limited to 15 kids.  Please use the sign up feature below or contact Sonya to reserve your spot.

Getting there:  See their website's complete description on how to get there.  Send Sonya any carpooling needs or offers.
