Campfire Tales

An old friend of mine is "telling" next Tuesday night in NDG and the event is open to the general public. Originally from Ste-Foy, storyteller John David Hickey has been spinning his tales in Montreal over the last decade or so. He and a friend will be offering a family-friendly event on the evening of September 30th. Sadly, as it is a Ju-Jutsu evening we won't be able to go. I thought some others here might enjoy the event, though. Here is the information he posted to Facebook:

This will be our second installment of Campfire Tales in NDG. Families are more than welcome! Bring your marshmallows!

Sarah and I will both be telling stories, but others might join us in sharing a few tales.

Weather permitting, we will be holding this event outside with a flaming brazier (dress warmly). If weather does not permit being outside, we will move the event into the community centre.
