homeschooling teenager. new to homeschooling

Hi.

I am new to homeschooling and i would love some ideas on how to make an education plan to submit to the school board.(south shore).The school system was not working for my son. I would love to hear from others out there with teenagers (grade 9). Also being new to the city he does not know many kids . are there any activities for teenagers.

Teens

Hi,

There are some friendly teenagers at Centre Communidée, currently up to age 15.  They have their "big kids" day on Thurdays.  Feel free to join us anytime!

There is another project for teens getting of the ground at Communidée on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.  It's called Imagine Education, and the contact person is Marilyn at marilyn.rowe13@gmail.com.

As for education plans, we have some people from the centre working on these, including our lawyer Geeta Narang.  I will forward your email to Melissa and Nina, who recently worked on high school level educational plans.
