This is a fabulous class (see below for info) with an almost 100% return rate. This is the 5th year that we have the pleasure of melanie as our teacher. Every child gets a speaking role and the show is performed twice at the Hudson Village Theatre. The classes are run in a positive and supportive environment. Don't miss out on the fun! Hullabaloo Theatre Classes

Theatre engages the mind body and voice to create and interpret stories. Theatre Develops the skills to work together in a group and create an ensemble. We promote self- esteem, self-expression, and dedication! Theatre is a great place to explore what it is to be human. It is also a lot of fun!
The Classes
Begin September 17th 2009 until November 26th and January 7th until beginning of May. Performance date TBA
Thursdays at St. George’s Church in St. Anne’s FEE: $255
Acting and Performance classes
The performance classes develop the basic skills of an actor, the expressive use of the voice and body, ensemble culminate in a play in which the actors also take part in many aspects of the production including sets, costumes, props and music. Performances take place at the Hudson Village Theatre.

Melanie Doerr
Melanie has been an acting teacher and professional actor for 20 years. She holds a Bachelor’s in Fine and Performing Arts and is pursuing her Early Childhood Education Attestation. She has appeared on Durham County, Mr. Nobody, Final Descent, The X Files, Dead Man’s Gun and Cold Squad as well as acting for stage with Axis Mime, Ruby Slippers, Tamahnous , The Caravan Stage Company as well as Shakespeare in the Park in Albany New York.
Since moving to Hudson she has appeared at the Village Theatre in a number of shows including Looking, Under the Influence, Sexy Laundry, and Cambell’s Sutra. Melanie has directed Snow White, The Emperor’s New Clothes for Hudson Village Theatre and this season will direct Red Riding
Hood.
