IRISH DANCE CLASSES

Come learn the traditional dances of Ireland! --> registration deadline Sept 22

Marie Short is a certified teacher of Irish dance with the Bernadette Short School of Irish Dancing   http://www.montrealirishdance.com/ and will be teaching the basics in Irish reels and jigs.  Dancers will learn individual beginner steps and then apply them in traditional ceili (group) dances and choreographies.

Dancers should wear exercise style clothing and running shoes.  If a dancer owns ballet or jazz style shoe those can be worn as well.  Any parent interested in purchasing new or used Irish dance shoes can speak with Marie to arrange purchasing them.

Open to: Boys and girls grade 1 age to grade 7 age (6-13)

Location: Ovide Chalet, 20 Ovide, H9S 5E8,  Pointe-Claire
Accessible by Bus 211, 202, 203

Time: 11:45am – 12:45pm

Cost: $63.00

7 weeks: Dates: Sept 25, Oct 23, Oct 30, Nov 6, Nov 20, Dec 11 & Dec 18

* Parents invited to see class on the last day only*

(Waiting area in adjacent room or playgrounds outside for younger children.)
