I'm Sonya. My partner Doug and I have two young boys: Eli is 2 1/2 and Tomek is 6 months. We live in co-op housing in the Milton-Parc area.

We have known from the beginning that we will try to homeschool our kids. We believe in giving them as much freedom as we can stand, while being the best example of a learner that we can be. Sounds like fun, no? Well I hope so! It's early still... but so far so good!

I have plans to create a Homelearners Support Centre in the next few years. I picture a physical space where homelearners can be together and make things happen. To start, it's this group (horray for the internet!), my apartment, and the city of Montreal.
