Who: offered by homeschooling parent Beth Haarsma

What: making & baking salt dough food & other items to play store.  Develop math/money skills, as well as arts & crafts and languages, while having fun!  Kids can take turns playing merchant and shopper.  At the end of the day, merchants tally up their cash and deposit their earnings at the bank.

When: two Tuesday afternoons in a row - September 15 & 22

Where: September 15 - the kitchen (room 129) for the making/baking/decorating; September 22 - the gym for playing store.

Language: French & English

Age range: all ages

Parent participation: as needed

How structured: quite structured in the kitchen, less so in the gym (depending if they need help)

Signing up: space is limited to 12 kids.  Signing up in advance is required.  Use the sign up feature below or contact Beth or (514) 843-5591. 

Requirements: Beth will bring the basics but everyone please bring: flour, salt, cupcake tins/molds, boxes, bags, baskets (for displaying & carrying).
