Community Schooling on the West Island are offering workshops to homeschooling families:

Due to the high level of interest in the hands on learning workshops, we have organized a schedule of math and science workshops for the fall.

Starting in September, Community Schooling teachers are offering math and science workshops for students at all levels. Our qualified teachers believe in hands on activities to facilitate the learning of students. We understand that students learn best when immersed actively in the learning process instead of passively taking notes or listening to a teacher; this is why our workshops are filled with puzzles, games, manipulatives and experiments. The individual attention in the small groups is also a huge part of the Community Schooling philosophy. The Community Schooling Workshops are a great supplement to the homeschooling experience.
