This year, the MNI Open House event will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at the Montreal Neurological Institute.

In the morning, students will be given special presentations about the brain and how it is studied. Presentations will be interactive and will cover topics including the 5 senses (taste, smell, touch, and vision), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and other techniques. There will even be an opportunity for students to see and feel a real brain. A keynote speaker will give a talk during lunch time. The day will culminate with a game show and raffle prizes where students can win MNI water bottles, MNI squishy brains, and MNI t-shirts. It is a fun-filled day and you will learn a lot about the human brain and all its wonders!

Who: Geared towards children 10 and up.
