All homeschoolers are welcome to join us for some miniature steam engine fun! Wednesday August 18th, from 10am at Montreal Live Steamers in Les Cedres (about 45 minutes West of Montreal - see map below).  Learn about steam engines and take a ride on a miniature train!  See photos here.

The cost is $7 per person (child and adult).

Bring your picnic lunch if you want to hang out and play afterwards.

If the forecast predicts rain, we'll go on Thursday the 19th or Friday the 20th.

I am a little confused. On the website it says that it is free. How come we are being charged $7.00 each? Thanks for the help.

Charge

They have free public days about twice a month. They are charging us because they have volunteers coming in on a weekday especially for our group - so it's to cover their gas and time, as well as to contribute to the grass-cutting and maintenance of the grounds. They assured me that they are a non-profit group.
