Hi, my name's Kim. I just moved here from the States and wanted to say GOOD FOR YOU!! It is very popular in AMerica right now to diagnose kids with attention deficit disorder and to medicate them and expect them to be able to survive the school system. I believe sitting all day at a desk is such an artificial, unnatural environment for little squirmy boys who need to move in order to learn. I have two such boys and anything longer than 15 minutes is just an effort in futility. I'm sure your son will do much better with your attentions and one-on-one learning and some space to be active!
