Using the book "Little Big Minds" by Marietta McCarty as a guide, Jackie will be facilitating a philosophy discussion group. Participants will develop critical thinking and communication skills as they contemplate and discuss abstract topics such as friendship, responsibility and happiness. The perspective of several philosophers will be presented and discussed. McCarty has used this format with children as young as 5, so this group will be open to all participants.
