photography class

Wow! Liam would love to take this class. Distance and no vehicle leaves him out of the Hudson class.

Any chance of having something like this at Communidée?

There's always a chance!

It's a nice idea... I'll keep my ears open for someone to do a photo course, and you all can do the same : )

Atwater library potential

our parents did a digital photography course at the atwater library. It was free and a lot of fun. Not sure if they would be capable of offering it for children but just thought i'd put that out there. Next time I'm in the area I'll see if there is any possibility. There were two full-time staff members there (as far as I understood it) who do their digital literacy project.
Also as a side note we had the children in the children's library (downstairs from the adult one) there and I got talking with them and they seemed pretty homeschooling friendly. Nothing formal but they liked the idea of doing something with homeschoolers. Initially they said homeschoolers would be welcome at their "after school" (crafty, chess etc.) programs but i def got the vibe there was potential there. The main librarian there (well at least the one we spoke with the most) also worked at the other branch so that would be included i assume.
