I have been teaching piano for ten years, and am an experienced pianist and singer. Born in BC, I was homeschooled throughout elementary school and part of high school. My schedule allows me to teach during the day as well as afternoons, and I feel that my approach is in line with the values of many families who choose to educate their children at home. I teach at my home in Pierrefonds (near The Sunnybrooke train station) in either French or English.

Je suis chanteuse et pianiste chevronnée. J'enseigne le piano à de nombreux élèves satisfaits. Je suis née en Colombie-Britannique, où j'ai moi-même été éduquée à domicile pendant 8 ans. J'aimerais enseigner aux enfants qui reçoivent également leur éducation à domicile, et je me demande comment faire parvenir cette information aux personnes que ceci pourrait intéresser. J'enseigne en français et en anglais également et je demeure à Pierrefonds, près de la gare Sunnybrooke.

 My address is 9 Place Talbot, Pierrefonds.  I teach at home, and am happy to teach in either French or English, regardless of what language the child speaks at home.  

 The first 1-hour meeting is free.  Parents are welcome and encouraged to be there and ask questions.  I also encourage potential students to come with questions.

 I charge $30/hour for one-on-one lessons.  Parents are permitted to attend but discouraged from doing so, because their presence is distracting for me and my student.  

 I have students as young as 5, and I have children of all ages as well as adults in my studio.  I am open to very young students with the requisite extra parental involvement the child must be able to focus his or her attention long enough for a half-hour lesson (or 2) each week.  

 I am very open to music from many traditions. My base is classical, and my students learn technique and how to read music.  The goal is to develop the tools needed to pursue their own musical interests.
