Redpath: Dinosaurs of Canada

10/18/2010 - 11:00
10/18/2010 - 12:00

Monday October 18th from 11am to 12pm.

All homeschoolers are welcome to join us at McGill's Redpath Museum to learn about the dinosaurs of Canada with wonderful and knowledgeable Ingrid.  Then the kids will do a craft - a dinosaur fridge magnet.

Afterwards we can eat lunch together on campus (if the weather is nice) or in the cafeteria of the Shatner Building (a two-minute walk).  You can bring food in and/or buy something there.

Cost: $7 for the Redpath + $1 for Communidée per kid doing the craft.

Directions: The Redpath is on McGill campus.  Go through the Roddick Gates (Sherbrooke at McGill College) and take your first left.  See the Redpath at the top of a little hill on your right.

Public transit: buses #24 Sherbrooke or #144 Pine.  Metro (Green line) McGill or Peel stops.

Cars: There is no longer any parking on campus or on McTavish - they have become pedestrian and bike zones. Try for meter parking on Pine, Sherbrooke or University.

This activity is limited to 25 kids.  Advanced sign-ups for members until Sept 1.  Non-members can sign up until Oct 11. Please use the sign up feature below or contact Sonya at (514) 845-5421.

Question

Sonya,

I wanted to understand the "advanced sign-ups for members until Sept. 1" comment. Do you mean the "communidee members"?

Thanks,

Ana Carina
