I had no idea
I don't think I've ever seen an episode of the Addams Family, although I've caught bits and pieces of it here and there - enough to get the general idea that they're weird and strange... Maybe the writers thought that homeschooling could contribute to that image? It's nice to see homeschooling on any tv show, but wouldn't it be nice if it were the Huxtables from the Cosby Show or Family Ties or something?
