« The Self-Organizing Revolution - Common Principles of the Educational Alternatives Movement » avec Ron Miller, Ph.D.

Cet atelier inspirant nous démontrera dans un premier temps que la révolution en matière d'éducation est déjà en marche. Miller nous exposera comment une nouvelle conscience peut guider la libération permettant l'actualisation de notre potentiel humain. Cet atelier se veut avant tout un espace d'échanges et de discussions sur notre vision de l'éducation et en quoi celle-ci peut influencée positivement l'avenir de notre planète! Un temps est également prévu pour la présentation de la formation d'un groupe de lobbying ayant pour objectif une plus grande liberté en matière d'éducation pour les parents au Québec.

About the Author:  Ron Miller is internationally recognized as an historian of education alternatives and an authority on holistic education. He has written or edited eight previous books, including What Are Schools For? Holistic Education in American Culture (1990), Caring for New Life: Essays on Holistic Education (2000), and Free Schools, Free People: Education and Democracy After the 1960s (2002). He founded the journal Holistic Education Review (later renamed Encounter) and the magazine Paths of Learning, and more recently has served as editor of Education Revolution magazine. He has been involved in establishing two independent schools. Miller received his Ph.D. in American Studies from Boston University and has taught courses in education and American history. He is currently teaching at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. Many of his writing, and information about his books, are posted online at www.pathoflearning.net
On Saturday October 2sd, you are invited to a workshop  « The Self-Organizing Revolution - Common Principles of the Educational Alternatives Movement » with Ron Miller, Ph.D.

This inspiring workshop will show us that a revolution in education is already occurring, Miller suggest how consciousness can guide the liberation of children’s potentials and the restoration of life on the planet. This workshop is a place for exchange and discuss about our vision of education and how this vision can lead to a revolution in the way we interact with our world. We will have also a short presentation of a lobby group working for more freedom in Education in Québec
