What: " Song and Bong" - 60 min. percussion and storytelling....helping participants to create musical soundtracks to go along with their stories.  Stories can be published or not (original)...contain images or not....be read or simply vocalized....be written or just improvised on the spot.  The objective  is to familiarize ourselves with sound making devices, literature, innovative ideas, listening and sharing and group creativity...  One session for younger ones and one for older.

What: Creative Dramatics for children and young people, grouped into ages 3 to 7 and 8 and up.  The objective is to assist participants to develop improvisational skills based on physical, non-verbal (at times), abstract (non-linear), narrative and group creation styles.  The work will be physical and require attention, focus and energy.  Continuity is importaant and the ideas presented will vary but accumulate and evolve from week to week becoming more detailed from session to session.

Like at last year's Halloween party, we will put the treats in a homeschooler-made pinata!

We will build a pinata or two out of papier-maché this week, and stuff and seal them next week, and paint them on the 3rd week.
