The Redpath Museum has a bunch of stuff for kids big and small. They hold extensive collections in the fields of paleontology, zoology, minerology and ethnology, and have lots of indoor stairs to play on for the little ones. Entrance to the museum is free, but the workshop will cost $6 per child.
DINOSAURS OF CANADA (in English, given by the wonderful Ingrid, who gave the volcanoes workshop) - for all ages. Uncover the dinosaurs that roamed Canada 60 million years ago. Craft for kids as young as 3: make a dinosaur footprint fridge magnet.
