I was very happy to come across this Montreal Urban BioKit - put together by Environment Canada - so I thought I'd share...

Monday August 23rd -- moved to Tuesday Aug 24 -- from 10am to 5pm at Mont St-Sauveur's Parc Aquatique - about an hour north of Montreal.  See map here.

Group rates are about 2/3 the price of daily tickets, and it's always fun to go with friends!  

Monday September 13th, from 10am at Maniadakis Organic Orchard in Franklin (about 1 hour South of Montreal - see map here).  In case of bad weather, we'll reschedule for Sept 15 or 16.

Wednesday September 15th, from 1 to 4pm at the Lachine Museum - 1 chemin du Musée, Lachine (see map below).  All activities are FREE : )  -- (Was reschedule from Sept 8)

The bigger kids (aged about 6-13) will be guided through a simulated archaeological dig on the museum grounds.  We have done it for the last two years and it was good fun!  See pictures here (you have to be logged on).

The little kids (under 6) will get a guided tour of the Maison Leber-Lemoyne - over 400 objects that depict the everyday lives of the Maison's occupants from 1669 onwards.  Then they will do an activity called Défi-sculpture - a tour of the outdoor contemporary sculptures and then collectively building their own sculpture.

Wed July 28 from 5-7pm in the mini-gym at Centre Communidée.  

For Communidée members to plan our time from Sept to Dec 2010.  Bring the kids and your supper.  Also bring your ideas, as brainstormed beforehand within your family, using these surveys if you wish...

Tuesday July 27 at 10:30am in Square Sir Georges Etienne-Cartier:

Le Théatre La Roulotte presents "Le Magicien d'Oz".  In French.  Free : )

Afterwards we can have a picnic lunch and a dip in the pool.  Also free : )

Nos garçons ont tous les deux 14 ans maintenant et voudraient faire des liens avec d'autres ados, filles et garçons.
