Hi Everybody.
I'm looking to organize a small group for learning more about computer programming in a fun and creative environment. My son is 9 and would spend all his time on the computer if I let him, so I would like to channel that interest into something educational and constructive.
The computer programming language used as an introduction would be Logo and the subjects would be ranging from basic turtle operations (a kind of computer controlled pen) to full blown programming of games / programs, based on interest and skill.

Hello all,
Because we are so much more West, it is too far for us to join in your yoga group so I am sending out an invitation to find out who is interested in doing some family yoga with my son (age 3.5) and I. I have found a teacher in a yoga center in Pointe Claire Village who is willing to offer us a one hour class for a period of 10 weeks. The cost is 150$ per couple (parent and one child) and each additional child is 50$ for the entire session.
This was recently posted on the Events list:

Have you ever wanted to try ballet but were too shy?
Do you think ballet is a snooze-fest? Well, think again…
Come join me for a fun, laid back, open ballet session that will last six weeks. I have been dancing for over 15 years and want to share my passion for dance with you.

Parents who homeschool want to provide the very best education for their children. There are times when we all could benefit from assistance in one subject area or another. This workshop will provide weekly activities to supplement the homeschooling experience. Activities in this programme include science exploration: math, physics, and biology, followed by art education: drawing, painting, sculpting and much more. Bilingual.
