It's nice to see such a positive article about homeschooling in such a mainstream magazine.

I am so new the concept of Homeschooling.
From what I have been told and what I have read so far...I LOVE THE IDEA.
My lil' man is only 3yrs and 7mths (yes I STILL count the months LOL), and I have already started US on the right path to schooling at home.
I was referred to this site by a Woman who has taught her 4 children.
My hopes are that I will receive the needed support to help me educate my boy to the best of my abilities.
If you have ANY insight for this Newbie...PASS IT ON PLEASE.

I recently had a question from a mom on the phone. She has to send her son to French school by law, but she doesn't speak any French herself. Her kid is having trouble at school and the mom wants to pull him out, but she asks me if she has to homeschool him in French, and how she might do that if she doesn't speak any French?!

If she homeschools him in English but is registered in the French system, won't they want to evaluate him in French?
